Multicentre study on the use of the bionic device BABYBE SYSTEM® in premature babies (very low birth weight, VLBW)
Research question: Does the use of BABYBE SYSTEM® within the setting of a neonatal intensive care unit lead to physical stabilization of small preterm infants (gestational age from 26+0 to 31+5 week of pregnancy)?
This Study is made in collaboration with TECHNIKER KRANKENKASSE
COSYBABY: A preliminary randomised controlled study to improve physiological stability of very preterm babies
Research question: “In babies born below 32 weeks gestation (Population) does the use of the “Babybe” (Intervention), compared with standard care (Comparator), reduce the frequency of AoP (Primary Outcome)?”

“Be With My Baby”: Pilot Investigation of the Use of the Babybe System® to enhance Family-centered Developmental Care in the Neonatal Intensive care Unit.
We aim to evaluate the impact of the Babybe Medical Mattress as a family-centered developmental care intervention using the following outcome measures:
1) infant outcomes, including term equivalent brain MRI looking at total brain volume, hippocampal and amygdala volume, and brain white matter diffusion; neurological examination at the time of the MRI; and infant clinical characteristics, and
2) parental well-being, parental NICU experience, and self-reported parenting skills
